Gallery :: Adding Photos

Requirements:

• Any photos you wish to upload must already have been scanned or available in an electronic form on your computer.
• JPG, GIF or PNG image format are the best to use
• If possible, save yourself a lot of time by keeping the image to 600 pixels x 600 pixels max.

Adding...

1. Choose the appropriate Album to add your photos to...

...by left clicking on either the appropriate album title or the title image to the left of it (3).

2. Next, click on the [add photos] link (1)

3. A pop up window will then appear:

• Select the number of files (images) you want to upload
• Browse your computer hard drive to locate the images using the "Browse..." button
  [NB: one file/image for each field]
• You can choose to set the photo caption to the file name (eg: mypic.jpg would have the caption "mypic")
• When you've chosen all your photos click on "Upload Now"

NB: It is possible to transfer one image at a time from a web site so if you know how to do this then by all means use the facility provided.

4. That's it...

NB: At present it's not possible to edit and provide your own captions for any photos you upload unless you have the appropriate Gallery User access. This is due to a quirk in the programming so apologies for that.
